The first NEBB U14 trial will take place on Thursday Feb. 23rd in Dundalk Sports Centre. Times and details are as follows:
Girls born 2003/04 9.30am to 12.30pm Selection for Regional team playing in "She Hoops" Tournament Belfast in June 2017 Boys born 2003/04 1pm to 4pm Tournament TBC in Ireland 2017 NB The trials are open to all players registered with the NEBB. If any player cannot make this trial, they are welcome to attend the subsequent trials/training which will be spread geographically throughout the region. There is a slight change to the times of stage 1 of the trials on Monday 20th. The boys session will now run from 10am to 1pm and the girls from 2pm to 5pm. All players should bring a ball, water, snacks and €5 for hall hire. Stage 2 on Tuesday 21st will run as scheduled with the girls session from 10am to 2pm, and the boys from 3 to 7pm. Looking forward to seeing players from all clubs in the NEBB at the trials which will be selecting teams to travel to the Intersport International Festival of Basketball in Kaposvar, Hungary, from 2nd to 8th July 2017. The tournaments will be held at the end of the season. We are looking for expressions of interest from coaches who would like to get involved with team selection and training. We are only allowed four players from any one club. This is a great opportunity for our region to showcase our senior talent.
