Well done to the North East Knights Girls U14 team. Their First outing came against the Dublin Regional Team in Virginia last Saturday 27th May. The game was tight throughout the first 3 quarters. The standard of play did not reflect the final result. The Dublin Region just pulled away in the 4th winning by 18 in the end.
This has been a great development and bonding opportunity for the the NEBB girls, given that they have only come together in the past few weeks. With more games to come for both the U14 Girls and Boys regional teams, it promises to be a great summer for our region to develop and improve its underage players. Well done Coaches Carol and Barbara and all the North East Girls. Congratulations to the North East Knights U14 boys who competed at the Noel Gahan Friendship Tournament in Athlone yesterday, Sunday the 21st. As well as representing the North East, 7 Knights players were selected to play in the "All Stars" match at the end of the day, the most players from any team participating on the day.
Good luck to the NEBB U14 Boys NE Knights squad which is taking part in the Midlands Friendship tournament on Sunday 21st May, in Our Lady's Bower Secondary School Athlone. The schedule of games is as follows:
